I get he doesn’t have perfect pitch and of course he will be off sometimes without the music sheets like you said but I’m a 100% sure in that part he did it completely intentionally because he was trying to be loyal to the meme. This comment is about that part, he really was struggling not using his violin correctly and that just shows how good of a violinist he is!

The music industry really needs to get their a** in gear and offer a blanket music license for KZbin content creators, like they do for restaurants, bars, and performance venues. If you don't know how it works, music you buy from Amazon, iTunes, etc. is licensed for personal use. You're not allowed to play it if there's a group of people listening, like at a birthday party, restaurant, bar, stadium, etc. For those you need a public performance license, whose cost depends on the number of people who'll hear the music you're playing throughout the year. The licensing agencies in the US are ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC. For most restaurant-sized venues, it works out to a few hundred dollars per year, and allows them to legally play probably 98% of music out there in "public performances". The music industry needs to make something like this for KZbin, so the content creators can just pay their annual fee and not be bothered by these stupid copyright strikes for 5 seconds of music. I suspect the reason they're not is because the way KZbin works right now, if you make a copyright claim for 5 seconds of music, the ad revenue for *the entire video* gets redirected to you. So they're probably making more money from KZbin's unfair implementation than they would from licensing the music.
