The all "I can go trought a song" concept is very usefull when it comes to cut the bullshit about practice and level "required" to play jazz an enjoy it with other people...Thx U for U're time and work, best regards from France!

very productive! i do the same on the cymbal for very fast temps, let the hh play the first note and the stick on cymbal do the other two. it works and actually gives a stronger swing than trying to do all three notes with the stick.

Very good lesson me a long time bass guitar musician that's heavy into gospel music, I'm really liking this jazz drums sound. I will make a sacrafice and learn drums jazz.

great vid mate. I noticed that your technique varies slightly to original brushes but it sounds awesome. I've played for 12 yrs but fast brushes is something that i just havent cracked. Is there anyway you could explain the motions a bit more? Are you ghosting with the right hand or push pull? Any more details would be great. Top playing. Cheers, Niall from England
