Outside of Weinstein, it was a nice simple story about friends sticking together thru thick and thin... It's all a matter of perspective. Knew this film way before I knew the vileness of the author... Same way we separate the art from the monster...

Just because this is not the 80s anymore (only in reality) that doesn't not mean those decades are forgotten. Those todays younger generation really got to see this movie no matter what. It's part of the real 1980s museum.

This movie features an absolutely rare track by Arcadia (Duran Duran spin off) called Say the Word. It was the last Arcadia track before Duran Duran reunites for Notorious. It was supposed to be called American War according to Simon Lebon. The version in the movie sounds like a rough demo. I assume Mark Egan is on bass but no one really knows. He played on the So Red the Rose album. Before I was aware of this movie I honeymooned in the Pocono Mountains area totally unaware how close the Woolworth Mansion was from there used as the Majestic. I too love this movie even though its not really that good though I believe it is.
