I'm always jealous of these charger bricks with the US/JP charging prongs that they just collapse, because sadly it's not a thing with European chargers (wonder why? I'm sure a similar mechanism could be done there lol) Ayaneo is very neat but for now a bit overpriced for me, for now I'm content with my Steam Deck and Loki Max, but they're definitely on my list when they release the perfect handheld I'd want. Oh also, you're one of the people who inspired me to finally get a proper desk setup and I have one since then! Not as cute as yours mind you, it's a tiny setup and I already made a bit of a mess on it lol, but I still love it, beats playing games on bed.

@@uhhsmile1746it’s sort of like a mix between a handheld console and a laptop. You can download games off of steam but you can also use it for normal pc activities.

I will never get tired of PC handheld, it can definitely do more than just playing games! Though, I do miss the handheld era of PSP/DS/3DS from 2005-2016~ish.

with all of that price, only capable medium avg 45 fps for genshin, that is bad, no ? i rather build some pc, or buy a piece of cheap-medium handheld that can run emulators game (up to ps2/switch). thank you for sharing this btw, i learn something new.

If you need a single all purpose device it’s justifiable rather than getting a desktop and a laptop, but outside of that specific context it’s definitely better to get a proper desktop.

You mean it cost $1200? It should have been half the price instead, then it would be a better deal than a conventional (and still expensive) laptops for both non-gaming and gaming types. Almost considered buying this an upgrade to a super budget Dell laptop that I had if it weren't for the not so impressive speakers of the Ayano Flip. Does is have at least a touchscreen?

new 2ds but with a keyboard and a pro controller shoved onto it… tbh i’m not the biggest fan. i understand why its so pricey too, but i feel like the offerings aren’t worth the price point… if these do become a niche market thing i hope the overall design will become more friendly and the hardware (and software… srsly windows is p much only good for computers. these handheld windows devices are nightmares) makes improvements

How much friendlier are you expecting the design to be? I’m confused because all the things you listed were widely successful not understanding the upset. Unless you are comparing it to something it’s not. Windows is great because it virtually can run anything in it and it’s the best os to run. If it wasn’t going to be windows it would have been android which would have been a hard no. And having their own os just makes it a much riskier purchase and too much of a hassle when windows is right there. Something virtually the majority of people already use

@@ca678.4 i think the size is unwieldy personally, i don’t have much faith in the ergonomics of it. especially with a full sized keyboard, i’m not sure we need to return to the days of sidekicks and blackberries. i truthfully think the combination makes zero sense. play it like a 3ds or steamdeck but also put it down (more than the other devices) from exhaustion or to type the occasional password or chat message… least convenient thing ever imo. i understand why windows was chosen, and honestly it’s less of a problem with the console makers and more beef with microsoft themselves. dunno who is in charge but man. not like i know much about how os works when you’re building devices really, i was just giving my thoughts seeing as i never heard of the device before i made that comment and forgot about it until right now. also the tech i mentioned being successful isn’t an indicator of the need for a combination or consolidation of those tech ideas. sure the smartphone or nintendo switch were incredibly successful, arguably changing the landscape forever, but some tech mashups come into the world too early or too late. this device is erring on the latter end. i mean, most people don’t even have flip devices anymore (in the us anyway), or phones with physical keyboards. nintendo stopped producing the ds and 3ds like a while ago. everything these days is a metal slab. i’m all in favor of bringing back variety in tech hardware, i just think that the current offerings do not offer enough at their price points to encourage people to adopt them, aside from the hardcore folk anyway. iono i may just be anti-handheld pc overall. hm. smth for me to ponder

Pro tips for fellow small hand chads: Watch this channel or other channels from women for handhelds to get an accurate scale of what the thing's gonna be like in your hands. Seeing her hands next to other items made me realize this thing is actually quite large and the other reviewers just have ogre mitts.
