There were several mistakes but again, totally acceptable with how hard it is to play this song. Also I noticed that adrenaline might have gotten the best of him because during slower parts, he's struggling with keeping in time (despite playing the faster parts generally well). Again, it's totally normal and that's performing adrenaline for you All in all, great cover and playthrough that's for sure Edit: was referring to this song

Play it without the backing track lmao. It's like singing over the studio version, you won't hear the mistakes. Still impressive, but you can't hear anything

@@mikewalko536 if you have a trained ear, your comment is ridiculous. the backing track doesn't include any of his notes, just the accompanying instruments. Some parts sound like they blend together because Polyphia intentionally harmonizes their guitars a lot, but the main sound coming through the speaker is his guitar and you CAN hear a couple little things here and there where he doesn't pluck a string quite hard enough or is a couple miniseconds off from the original before syncing back up again. And if you have a trained ear you can absolutely hear singing flaws over a studio mix also. You just clearly haven't trained your ears at all. to TRULY appreciate music, you have to train your ears to pick up everything, all the layers, all the tones, everything. Playing over a studio mix doesn't effect the quality of your sound if you have a decent PA, which they did here.

It's so obviously layered I legitimately can't tell if your comment is satire. Again, the guy did a fantastic job, but the guys (you included) who are jerking him off for being flawless and perfect don't realize how much the backing track helps. Stay in music school bud, keep 'training' and you'll hear (pun intended) what a little meaningful listening gets you. Even at 1:11 you can hear the actual volume of his guitar with the percussive strumming that isn't part of the studio track, immediately followed by notes that are from the recording. He's insane, but this isn't a way to showcase his talent in a meaningful way. 2:28 you really start hearing the studio version peel over the playing.
