It's very weird, you'll think that you put on an amazing show and the cpu does just as good or better. I literally put on a PPV recently that had 3 5 star matches and one 3 star match and I absolutely blew the cpu's match ratings out of the water. I got 230,000+ fans and they got like 220,000+ fans and im like how? Hard gm mode is unfair sometimes.
