For everyone who doesn’t get the ending, here’s the short version: So the family at the beginning, with the burning house, that was real. Anthony lost his family and felt guilty for their death and as a result got PTSD from it. He went on with his life but once he heard the policeman say “Little Hope“ it triggered his PTSD which made him imagine all of this.

@@lucinaaugusta7279 i think it is under appreciated, he´s deeply traumatised and suffers from hallucinations and reliving his trauma trying to change the outcome. bc he couldnt safe anyone in his past. honestly god tier twist in my oppinion. super sad. actually almost cried when mous mentioned the survivors guilt. i think a lot of people and streamers didnt really get that and hate it bc they think its a lazy oh well just a silly dream ending.

Spoiler: Important to note: the British characters died in similar ways to how the resembling family members died in the fire, from the MC. Present characters also had similarities to resembling family members ( ex: Taylor with neck mark similar to girl trapped on balcony and choked). All from the MC's perspective blaming himself for choosing to save the little girl instead of family in fire. That's y the girl is known as the 😈 child cuz he hates how he got influenced by her He was trying to save every imaginative family figure Finding the "bus driver" means finding his "inner self"

Pretty sure this is just 1 interpretation of the story. You can choose to save Tanya at the beginning and the MC would still blame himself for his families demise as he's the only one that's supposed to be alive from that scene. Also the little girl wasn't literally a 😈 child in the actual timeline or the "British" one. It was all a red herring, she's just a lonely child having an imaginary friend. You don't actually see her do any nefarious things, it's all just the way the scenes were framed that makes it seems like she has supernatural entity influencing her. It's honestly just the writers using liberties to implant false narrative within the viewers. The only thing you can lead back to her would be the doll on the stove, even then you never actually see her put it there. Andrew just thought Megan had something to do with it judging by his memory of the event. She was going down the stairs as the flames were raging which could mean that she was upstairs most of the time. Where the bathroom and Dennis with the attics were. While the kitchen was downstairs. Also I believe there's some little bit of "unreliable narrator" aspect to Andrew's overall memories. The other occurrences that lead to their timely demise could be explained by mere coincidence.

Honestly yes. Little Hope's twist ending was a little bit of a copout for some people, I actually preferred it to The Quarry. Also the main characters in this are 100 times more likeable and understandable than The Quarry.

@@seeluet yup with LH I feel like they wrote a plot that they wanted to explore and executed it the way they wanted it to be, under their own terms. People can hate the twist all they want but they actually plan for that and left hints for eagle-eyed players. The Quarry feels like it took a noticeable nose dive after Laura came back into the picture. It's like they can't properly tie up the loose ends for whatever reason and it feels super rushed towards the end. The set-up and execution during the earlier stages of the game was great but instead of Laura bearing the punishment for her stupidity, the game instead treats her as a hero of the story and punishes an innocent family who's just trying to survive. LH also focuses on accepting loss and letting go of the guilt. TQ feels like it focuses more on selfishness and getting away from your problems by throwing enough people under the bus.

@@seeluet 100%, I feel like they intentionally made the dialogue cringey to simulate that "horror teen movie" vibe but the drawback to that was that it made the characters unlikable, extremely unlikable. The Ryan romance options were the worst part, it's the most useless option in the game, it might as well not be there because it doesn't even lead to anything other than the game leaning into it for the cringy shipping community. Definitely no build up and he doesn't even have any chemistry with Katlyn nor Dylan. It's just forced to make the scenes juiciers. Also remember the part where Kathlyn was a badass shooter showing off her skills to Jacob and Nick at the shooting range? Yeah that doesn't even lead to anything either, the first time she got confronted by a (possible) threat, she got her shotgun taken from her in an awkward scuffle 🤦 the writers like to lean heavily into these things like "strong feminine" figure but when the plot matters, they either just stumbled back into being damsels in distress or in the case of Laura, she just becomes a "Mary Sue" and an unlikable ahole. Also don't worry about your English, I'm not a native speaker myself. We're all learning as we type lol

I’m so happy! They played all of the first season and their ranking of the games are the same as mine. I’d love to see Conner and Mouse play Until Dawn together, if possible. I’d also rather the team behind the Dark Anthology series skip on releasing a new game next year. It can’t be easy pumping out a well polished game within a year’s time frame and Devil in Me shows that the devs are suffering from this time crunch. Idk much about game development, besides it’s high stress and high demand. But I’d rather wait for a non glitchy/bugged game as opposed to waiting an extra year or two.

I think it is music from Streambeats by Harris Heller. He makes music copyright free for people to use on streams. There are several albums and i think the one playing at that moment may have been from the Chiptune album and i believe the song may be called Dual Screen Lovelife. Hope that helps :)

since i have never played any f these games and only love streamers play them, i cant judge on trems of hoe the gameplay feels ... but storywise this one and until dawn are my personal favs. i´m a sucker for wichcraft but also the illusion of it and the psychology of the witch triels/hunts. SPOILERS FOR THE ENDING + THE ENDING OF MAN OF MUDAN . . . . I thought Taylor's neck marks disappearing after she's saved was a cool detail, I would've been content with some final destination type ending where they've been getting reincarnated just to die the same way but now that they've all survived it's put an end to the cycle I'm torn about the ending, I really wish they would just stuck with the time shenanigans and evil magic. "It was all in their head" endings are weak and almost always disappointing because it retroactively makes the events meaningless (in this case spitting on all the characters and character development) BUT this game did execute it pretty well for such an ending, how the 70s deaths weren't actually a replication of the witch trial deaths but the other way around was pretty cool There is a major flaw though, at the start Megan was talking with an invisible someone who was even seen as a monster for a split second AND that invisible thing knocked the ladder over which isn't explained away by Andrew hallucinating or whatever, unless the game is trying to say both of them or Andrew and the player were hallucinating either of which would be pretty dumb Tbh Man of Mudan does the whole hallucination thing much better, all the characters are going through it so the characters and character development actually mean something AND there was real danger for all of them. Then there's the twist of the Manchurian Gold, which is a cooler twist because it doesn't hinge on completely hiding the hallucinations themselves but instead the explanation for them being not supernatural but real-world (but also not hand-waving it with a flimsy trope-y excuse such as mental health)

The PS5 controller is pretty much the perfect controller to me, from the weight to the size to the grip to the overall design. The only issue is the god-awful d-pad, but I think they’re releasing a super overpriced pro version which seems to have a better d-pad

I can't use the PS5 (or any of the PS) controller for more than 5 minutes without my hands cramping up. They are way too small for large hands. Xbox controllers have been perfectly sized since the original (loved the Duke controller). So it's highly individual.
