Latinos rarely do coat hanger, we either get Leather Belt which does both slashing and bludgeoning damage, or chancla, which is pure bludgeoning but has a longer range and can be used as a ranged weapon. The there's broom for the one's with witch/warlock class.

I think the rules are if you have the money you have to buy the star you have to go towards the star at all times and you have to pick items and use items when you get the chance.
