Idk background completely, but I agree…outside looking in, Noel seems like a nice guy and Liam doesn’t. Unfortunately common with the little-big bro dynamic, especially when they’re the only 2 children. Younger one tends to be the aggressor.
@melissaknight74635 ай бұрын
@@BrooksOrlando They're actually three brothers. Liam's indeed the youngest but Noel's the second one. They have an older brother called Paul. And as a longtime Oasis fan (so probably not unbiased), leave the celebrity aspect aside and they both seem like nice guys, just in their own particular ways.
@BrooksOrlando5 ай бұрын
@@melissaknight7463 For sure. Good to know too. I get it too how Noel has strangle-hold of creative process and Liam felt he wanted more input. He was basically just performing his songs. Not across the board, but prob more than he would like. Little/big bro relationships are always complicated haha. Especially when they’re pretty close in age and work together. It’s not even so much older bro always bullies younger bro. From what I’ve seen though, younger bro feels like he has to prove something. Biologically, older siblings are hardwired to be more of caretaker/guardian for your younger siblings…some guys with egos can’t handle that dynamic. I was listening to Jake and Logan Paul have an argument not long ago and reminded me of this. Logan felt like he could “big brother” him and lecture and Jake was like F off, I got this haha. Yeah I thought that too!. But Noel is the quieter one. He is good mates with Chris Martin from Coldplay, (with Chris saying that he’s “like the younger brother who likes ballet”). Noel has played with them a few times, and even Neil and Chris just wind each other up but still respect each other as musicians. The press made it look like they fell out but maybe don’t get their British humour? I remember I hadn’t seen Oasis for 20 odd years then saw them performing with Coldplay a few years back and was shocked by Noel smiling and seeming so different to how I remembered him (I was late teens when their first album came out though)

@CalamityHillMusic10 ай бұрын
@user-gj6rl7po9q My guess is to use light strings, tune the guitar a semitone down, and put some muscle into the bend. This is one of the few songs that's in a microtonal tuning, so it could have something to so with that. You can get this effect by bending the strings just past the nut and behind the tuning pegs. I would advise doing that though as I snapped a string on my first attempt lol.
@TheSpartan_G8 ай бұрын
@@CalamityHillMusic It's a lot more simple than all of that. This guitar just has a B-Bender in it. This song isn't in a microtonal tuning either. The album version of the song is slightly in between C and C#, but that's not what "microtonal tuning" means. It's still in a standard tuning, the entire master recording is just slightly too sharp or flat compared to the key it was recorded/tuned in (i.e. likely a product of manipulating the tape speed rather than the tuning of the actual instruments during recording).
