Gta 5 is back online via a custom server, this is not R* server. It's back on ps3 by downgrading the game and on rpcs3 (ps3 emulator). But it's temporary character and when you quit the game all your save is removed.

I really wished they just did like an offline version of the GTA 5 online and up to whatever's DLC content they could fit in. I very much hated that I have to connect to the internet everytime I have to access my online character. In fact, I almost never played my online character with other online players. It was just me, solo grinding missions with my online character.

This is crazy im a big fan of GTA 5 Online on PS3 I had a legit ps3 character i had purchased everything in the game with contact missions and selling vehicles every hour i had rank 606 and 150 days played 3600 hours after rockstar shutdown the ps3 game i hated rockstar i wanted nothing to do with the GTA 5 Online on ps4 or ps5 i didn't have any energy left to buy everything back. I played on ps3 from November 17 2013 to the shut down December 16 2021 the online shut at 12:30 pm and then you get saved fail error after at 3:40 pm i was forced offline from a error message i hope we can get ps3 GTA 5 running stong again because i think the basic concept of the online is like nothing else.
