It’s kinda crazy. These games are so similar and yet so different. Flash games really have it all, huh?

26:21 yooo uber pool I remember to get high scores a few years ago I'd just wait on lower levels (run down the clock before potting one) to get lots of +500pt boosts to help the score before going into the later levels where +500pt boosts are rarer. (Edit - Forgot to mention that the different types of balls on the later levels are cool too and spice it up a bit) LMAO I didn't know about the cue going like that when holding the mouse down, peak Jiggmin gaming

Lots of cool games here, including the one on Steam! Lots of talent about both in past and present This reminds me I had a dream like a year ago about a pool-themed game that doesn't exist, maybe I should make it sometime

Congrats on the switch release! This game genre isn’t really my cup of tea, but this news is cool enough that I will probably buy it anyways when it comes out.

Rack and Slay looked great when i watched Aliensrock play it, and when i saw it in the thumbnail for this video i had a moment where i thought, "wait, that game is just a browser game? I could go play that right now if it is!" Then was immensely dissapointed to find out it was a steam game that costs money lol. I dont have an issue with games costing money, obviously i feel developers should be paid for their work should they want to be (i assume most would), but theres kind of an expectation for "browser games" or "pick up and play" games as you called them in the video, to be free, so it feels weird that it was included in the thumbnail alongside a bunch of other actually free, actual browser games. I guess then the excuse is 'the collection shown in the thumbnail is actually not the same as the collection described in the title!', but then, what is the connection between all of the games in the thumbnail? Is it just that theyre billiards games? If so, then why arent a bunch of other billiards games on there? Why is it just a bunch of browser games, AND rack & slay specifically? Could it be, an ad perhaps? Maybe you included it in there, in the hopes that someone like me would come along, see it, recognize it, and come to the same conclusion i did, that it was a browser game i could pick up and play right now? Whatever the case, its misleading.

You absolutely can play it in browser, right now! It has less features than the final paid version. But you could easily spend *hours* in the browser demo - which is more than you'll likely get out of the majority of games featured in the video. I even included the Newgrounds build in the video at 0:38. www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/915399 Maybe I should have explicitly stated that that was browser-ready? I take for granted that people might not readily recognize the Newgrounds interface. Regardless. I'll push back against the claim that I "mislead" anyone.

How does one go about getting published? Just asking for a friend... like legitimately. I can't make anything, but I do have a friend solo working on a, as she has described, "FPS boss rush. Dna of Have a Nice Death, Titan Souls, Brutal Orchestra, and a healthy dose of uncomfortable existential dread."

The standard is to put together a "pitch deck" and shop that around to publishers. I opt have a form on the 2leftthumbs website where people can fill in details about their project instead :) No guarantees! But I do keep a close eye on submission through that form.
