Projects like this one have come and go many times, under different names, by different creators. Most assume it's simple asset swaps, and lose steam shortly after trying to adapt the code. I respect this mod's determination, though. Curious to see what all is here.

Nah, there's no super clean aesthetic, the only reason it's so clean is that Aperture forgot to activate their cleaning bots in p1, but in this remaster this issue was fixed!

Portal 2 was incredibly dark and dirty. Portal 1 was clean.

@@matthewkendrick8280 Portal 1 chambers had a clean aesthetic, but had obviously been unmaintained for some time. Really look at them, they're grungy as hell. Portal 2 starts with the facility in total ruin, so obviously it's an absolute mess, but by the time we get to triple laser it's cleaner than it ever had been. New Aperture is falling apart again by the end, but it's still much cleaner than in Portal 1. Then there's the levels made with the level editor, which are downright sterile.
