This run was done on build 5135, some glitches might be harder to perform on the Steam version of the game. The strafing
in the video has been smoothed a bit to make it easier to watch.

That's because it's a computer programmed speedrun. That's also had cheats enabled.

Also, "computer programmed" means they simply went through the game and played it frame by frame, with each frame being able to put in an input (like, maybe walk right) so they can control exactly when they do it without ever "messing up."

Those blue-green glitching looking areas aren’t render glitches. What you’re seeing is boundary breaking, anything outside the boundaries does not get rendered. Devs like to use these to store items in them until the player triggers an action, like an item spawn

+Ignia M. Gavier There are pretty much no actual circles in games, they are polygons. The trick is to have as many corners as possible to make it more like a circle.
