With potosi, it’s either you are the emperor of China with single whip law completed, or you are allied with ming owning the province, or you are a subject whose overlord aka “liege” is allied to ming because it’s most likely to be owned by a colonial nation who has an overlord and that overlord can ally Ming. Is Bengal as strong in the mod as it is in singleplayer? It's not Korea, Japan or China but it still gets a metric ton of development cost modifiers and it has some really good land to develop, loads of farmlands with trade centers and valuable trade goods. If the Indian trade nodes didn't suck so bad in the base game you'd be incredibly rich very quickly.

No it’s very playable I just didn’t play my best and it was my first time Jianzhou ever. If I’d play again I’d do different ideas and I’d culture convert my entire nation to Manchu for more banners and I’d probably be more aggressive to Korea while he was around the world conquering everything

well qing is just overall a better ming, better mission tree, better ideas (ming ideas are some of the worst in the game imo) and starting as a horde means you can end up much better ahead than ming
