Nothing else compares to RO1 on pc, not even all those mobile versions they can't capture the magic and splendor of RO. I miss this game so much jumped in late 2003 and retired early 2007, but the memories live on forever the friends we made along the way. My younger friends don't understand my fascination with an old MMO even having RO music and tones for my mobile phone. It just hits differently, the magic of early 2000s the boom of online games.

Absolutely the same. Its so hard to describe to people who thought they liked games like we remember RO, its not even in a game category for me, but more of a life-experience, like what you learn from prison, or what you learn from marriage AKA prison. The way i approach all things wil have been forever altered and as a result improved because of my experience with that game. It was the real MMO. Levelsndidnt even matter to half of us because it was just something to do with friends like night-driving, looking for trouble. The role playing element was confusingly integrated into the experience. You legitimately want to be some kind ofnhero and prove yourself to the general public as a noble figure of wisdom, kindness, and skill, not just "win" people who were nice but also really strong were usually the scariest people around to cross in WoE. Just a radical time to be alive. I tell people i grew up on or in the internet and that my personality is novel and strengthened because of it. This game is why i saw that to this day. If you hear original RO BGMs ripped in FLAC quality (better than the game files) playing in an auto parts store, it's me.

some private and mobile Ragnarok problem is a chore I need to play or I miss the dailies and it's pay 2 win the 2008 private servers was the best for me it's pay 2 win with donation but you can easily catch up even if you don't play daily you just play whenever you want or do you want.

Yeah i Feel you I started playing 2007 and stopped around 2013, It was incredible like nothing else really. I really love this game just hearing the prontera theme almost brings me to tears everytime.

Present. I played form 2004 to 2007 on euro server. I had fun, i found friends and also a girlfriend. This game took a lot of time but gave me a lot. Thanks Ragnarok, You will stay always in my heart

same here. 2003-2006. I started on euRO for a few months and continued on a private server. We had so much fun, especially at the "War of Emperium". I've barely been as excited as a gamer the first time we captured a castle with my guild as the first guild which was capable of doing so. The was this Moonlight MvP monster in the castle and we were all rather low level, so it was a real pain :) I first heard about the game on a gaming TV show called "GIGA" in Germany. A friend of mine asked me if I'd be interested and I was like "come on, this looks so childish and the anime feeling is just nothing for me". I still tried to please him and got hooked, despite the visuals that I ended loving though :) Good times.

Same. I basically lived inside this game 😄 As soon as I got home from school I ran straight towards my computer and logged in. I had so many friends in this game that I unfortunately lost contact with when the server I played on closed 😔 Some days I just sat at my own "claimed" spots in different cities/dungeons and just talked to friends for hours 😌 Those spots were my homes. That's where I lived 😁

OG EuRo Chaos player here; had a sniper level 94 full pvp geared with +7, 150 dex, 90 agi, 186 ASPD, it were great times in PvP, best memories, for me to date best game (and I played quite a lot of games). Cheers and take care

The game dynamics and structures are pure gold. But Gravity must give us upscaled sprites. Not necessarly 3D but better detailed animations.

Upscaled resolution, modernized UI, not too away from the current feel and look, improved(HD) item and skills icons, character sprites, some extra sprite frames maybe, QOLs then keep the same gameplay. it's hard to play this game anymore, every map even in town brings back memories from early 2000s. I've tried but it will never be the same, the people i''ve interacted with the moments with friends, it's just mostly the player playing this game as today are probably third generation from where i came from. it's sad and grateful to know the game still around.

Dude, the biggest thing for me was that there was an actual quest log and identifiers to NPCs that had something to do with it. Quests in RO were like "yeah you either read this all and remembered it for later, or you read a guide."

I used to play the game 20+ years ago. I run 30 bots 24/7 with revemu. All level 99, botting for hydra card at comodo and whisper card at Geffen dungeon. Selling zeny for 11 dollars per million. Made good money as a student. Love this game and so nostalgic

​@crispyfries7172 I preferred the game before 3rd transcendents came into play. Now only exists on private servers xD Just pick a low rate server with 99/70 levels and even x5/x5/x5 rates with normal mvp card drop rates is the way to go

@4n4Queen only one that is decent is danaeRO but it's high rate with low rate boss drops. Most players are afk to farm points for cosmetics and stuff though

why is there no modern game like RO? RO has the perfect amount of PvE and PvP content. including global chat, trading etc all the good stuff. the ROE/guild war stuff was the best. i swear no other game offers the complete package.

i have not seen any game have so many maps in so many levels above ground under ground and underwater, so many different structures of maps in glastheim. lets not forget the music, its so varied i still have it in my PC and mobile. My max level assassin Cross, my high wizard and my rune knight, i miss them all. I used to have so many variety skins for the menu and my favorite were those monster summoning willow branches and my two top level cards AMON RA card and Ghostring cards on all my 3 charecters. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 The rage on the enemy players attacking my guild castle in the imperium wars and competitions.

Aren't there new characters already? I retired many years ago then I come back to make new chars from my 99 level Paladin and Scholar. After that I make 150 levels autospell Sorcerer and Royal Guard and quit again :D But in memories it's still the best game ever for me :)

Loved your guides, bro. I did the same thing recently and feel that iro lost its soul. I got a char over 150 and honestly, once you buy a CVB hat it's ggs. AoE, fwing, repeat. @GGDeeOfficial The easiest way is to buy one from other players using the shopping board in prontera. They have gone down a bit, 80 to 140mil last I checked. The other option is using the ocp boxes in the cash shop and hope rng is on your side.

I think you should make a guide for total noobs on this game especially reneweal. Example.There's no info nowhere on which items to sell from mobs which to keep which to sell to other players. Or how to find mvps how to k.ll them etc. A total new player to this game doesn't know what to do and how to play the game for the lore so he just farms. Check other channels as well to get ideas like necris. Have a good year mate.
