In that particular circumstance, there really wasn't a good reason to say no to Heisenberg, even if Ethan didn't want to take the deal. I mean, we saw why: he got booted down to into the factory and had to risk his life to climb back out (twice), gaining nothing that would help him bring back Rose in the process. On the other hand, Ethan was always going to have to fight Miranda one way or another; why not do it with help (even if there's a chance said help might try to backstab him after it's done)?

@Matt Of course he shouldn't trust any of them. He doesn't need to trust Heisenberg to play along long enough to get what he wants out of the deal. Remember, Ethan doesn't know how to reconstitute Rose from her four parts. He's just collecting the parts, hoping that Duke knows how. Beyond that, even if Ethan managed to reconstitute Rose without facing Miranda, she's not going to let him get away easily. Like I said before, Ethan was always going to have to deal with Miranda one way or another. Better to do that with help than without.

Who the fuck wants their precious little baby to be used as a weapon? He rejected Heisenberg for multiple EXTREMELY valid reasons. 1. Heisenberg wants to use Rose as a weapon against Miranda. 2. Heisenberg is a psychopath experimenting on people and turning them into robots. 3. He’s out for revenge. If something goes wrong while they’re fighting Miranda, he won’t hesitate to throw away Ethan or Rose. Or if everything goes perfectly, backstabbing Ethan would be no problem either. 4. Heisenberg isn’t even whole heartedly invested in the deal. Testing Ethan with all the lycans? Throwing him away when he rejected the deal? There was 0 sincerity to begin with. I’m glad Ethan wasn’t stupid enough to accept the deal. All his character development would have gone to complete shit if he accepted the deal.
