Well, well, well... Thanks for making this Friday awesome... I'm pumped to watch this! I'm doing a "Root with Friends" tonight, or with Friend, it's a 1v1 with my dad. This is what I texted him this AM to set it up... (I'll be Keepers) A report just came in from the Woodland: It's winter. Things have been calm in the Woodland since the civil war ended. The Woodland Alliance succeeded in calming the tensions amongst the rivalling militant factions. Now all that remains are mere remnants of the factions, they are mercenaries for hire, calling themselves Hirelings. However, the calm and the snow has stirred an ancient presence... Savage badgers are raiding the clearings, enslaving the inhabitants of the Woodland without care for their kind. Birds, Foxes, Rabbits, Mice; they're all up for the grabs. These badgers say they are keepers of the forest, as if they have some aged right to raid these clearings. They're looking for something too. Something precious to them... something hidden in the forests. Worst of all, they call themselves The Keepers in Iron, wielding spears and heavy armour... which is threatening to anyone who would oppose them. In desperation, the inhabitants of the Woodland are crying out to former powers. I have the base game and all the expansions for the boardgame but havent been able to get it to the table yet I've only ever gotten to play digital against the AI definitely a noob still but i love you're content and played a game with the cats vs dutchy last night it was fun and super close like literally 28-32 with me winning as cats can't wait to get the chance to play a game and learn more about it playing against people.

@JarvisDMLord the Steam game by Dire Wolf is great! I have played a ton of matches that way against bots and players and it's a blast. Sucks when someone leaves or DCs and imbalances the game by being able yo beat up on their bot. Buy I still highly recommend it!

It’s a goal but much harder to produce. And requires specific mics and multiple cameras. I want to but def need more recourses before I regularly can release them.

I think the lock rule sucks. it should be rewritten. It should say if the last revealed faction is a grey one (whatever they are called) AND there is only one red faction, THEN you lock it. because this only matters to ensure a red faction gets picked, which in cases like this game will happen anyway... so there is no reason to have the last player essential LOSE a quarter of their advantage going last and not even beeing able to pick the stronger faction or the one he maybe likes the best. in this case woodland alliance would be so strong for the player going last or third here, but he cant, which I think is stupid.
