You can destroy the boss with stormfront 3-6. If the lightning damage is low, gonna recommend using Fire Aura (the one that activate when you do a crit attack) with Power of the Flame to increase it damage and range

At the very least he is not as bad as Cleric, dude has the worst kit in the game to deal with, especially when you don't have a consistent weapon to fight him with in act 1. All his moves are just spamming potions, which for some reason have Iframe and knockdown. Hermit is after Redhead though so we get a break after him, probably one of the easiest bosses in the game on normal mode since he just stand still.

use the legendary lvl poison cloud, when you hit with any magic (lightning charges count as magic) it stuns them and its easy to kill them

Sometimes the stun bugs out and causes softlock, mostly when the enemy reached 0 hp by poison/fire damage. That's the only downside you have to watch out for. And yes enemy can still use magic before being stunned.

There's not really many tip, but try to stay close to him when he uses potion, it will disable his potion effect in return of you getting pushed away, keep distance when he got crit potion effect on (red one)

If you don't know, you can actually downgrade a piece of equipment through the refresh arrow in the left when you're selecting one giving you 90% of money and shards you used to upgrade that piece Also this game destroyed me mentally especially in Act 3 so I deleted
