Thank you. I could not get started ear training until I found you. I've worked a lot on music theory, scales and fret board memory but was stuck. You gave me a way forward.

Hey just found this video Have been practicing it a little bit with a song I once knew how to play but over time I‘ve kind of forgotten (yeah shame on me). But it actually works. I still need to practice finding the notes but it is doable. Thank you sooooo much for this

Worked my way through the whole course and had so many light bulb moments especially when you go on to modes and separating them into minor and major modes really helped crystallise a few things I was struggling with. Thanks.

I wish I was an advanced player like yourself. I always have to watch people play stuff to understand how to do something this helped a little but for the past few months I've been trying to figure out a song called Citizen Radio by Egypt Central there's no tabs no covers nothing the only thing I can recognize is I think it's in C#.

Excellent theory ideas. Now I finally understand what perfect, diminished and augmented are. I also have a new interval practice routine.

Your description of what a minor is was a facepalm moment. I've always gotten it, felt it, intuited it.. but knowing the fact that it's the 'second dropped down one' eluded me... for like 32 years.

Doesn’t the Happy Birthday melody start on the 5? So it’s 55,6,5,1,7...so the minor interval is not 2 but 6. All things are relative on guitar as you stated so the theory works

Hell, that's confusing. learning a song chords by ear requires ear pitch, it can take years. there is no 'in 5 minutes' without great ear pitch.
