Bored of this argument. The fact is that Mac gamers represent a sub 1% share of the PC gaming market. There’s zero financial incentive to develop Mac ports most the time outside of games like The Sims etc. The only reason big titles come to Mac is because Apple is the one paying the bill, not the players. And they can’t do that for every single game for the reason I said at the start. You will argue something like “but what about World of Warcraft?” It makes money and actually has a long standing Mac player base. Other games don’t. There’s your answer.

The steam deck sold over 3 Million so there is demand for different gaming machines and the Mac is already out there and is being sold nevertheless. A apple gaming market can grow pretty fast if done right and the developers can't print money so they have to go where the users are.

Apple doesn’t let you call people and use Apple Watch features at the same time. They’re too stupid to think of anything actually useful. Just Vision Pro nonsense (which is getting scrapped bc of course it is and a Siri who doesn’t understand English except for when you’re not talking to it SMH

Hmm the RDR performance is very disappointing - this is a game which runs very well on a potato of a PC. The framerate on a 4080 is double this at max settings and at 4k resolution and that's the performance you're looking at in a similar price range on PC (the 4090 mobile is slightly faster than the 4080 desktop card... it's a beast).

Nah you totally rong like the rtx 4090 mobile is equal to a rtx 3090 desktops (its good but totally not the level of a 4080 ) , and yeah a 4080 could do double the framerate of the mac but the game IS totally not opptimized for mac thus the perf would be not amazing And like do you really expect a desktop 300 w card to beat a laptop ( That are both relatively New) ?

Game Dev for Mac is development hell and pretty low incentive. The RE remakes and RE games are not doing particularly well in terms of sales for Mac either.

RDR: in my bottle the hidden .1911 folder does not exists (other hidden folders I can see), the game ends with the message: unable to connect to Rockstar Games...any suggestions?

Nobody has gotten the purchased version to work yet, only the cracked version you can find on pirate sites that removes DRM and the need to connect to Rockstar Games. I'm currently stuck in the same place.

I don't get it, for playing games on Mac people need to pay crossover or proton? There is no real way to play games likes Diablo 4?

That's small market of gamers hence companies rarely develops version for OSX. Which causes projects like crossovers etc to exist for those who wants to use their Mac machines for some gaming anyway.
