Yey, I'm super exited to see you dive in! Don't worry, I think you are actually figuring the game out faster that many others that I've seen playing! And you are being brave so far too! ^_^ The water management will definitely get easier once you learn new stuff. Catching the fish can be a bit fustrating in the beginning, it was for me too. I played on a mouse and keyboard, but I had a slow lap top and the lag didn't help lol. But it gets easier too, when you learn it. The story in this game is quite cool, so I recommend really being careful and avoid any spoilers and taking too many tips! You don't need to worry about being fast, just take your time to figure it out :) I don't want to guide you too much, but two tiny QoL tips: There's a hatch in the bottom of your pod. Use that for easier access! Also don't forget that you crafted a scanner!

"Subnautica": An Experience masquerading as a mere game. Explore, catch fish, gather materials to create needed tools. Make a Scanner, along with basic tools; READ the data files crested by your Scanner! Have fun, this is a roller coaster ride through The Unknown that will trigger your imagination into high gear.;) Early Game questions: "What do I do next?" "What was that sound?" "What was I doing this for?" This game has been known to increase subscriber numbers as you swim through Planet 4546B. Goodm you found out to NOT eat Decomposing or Rotten food. Try fishing at night.

@@ShallieCat Sales are one of the best things since sliced bread. Small tip, go hunt peepers and bladderfish at night. They are easier to see and more docile. Also, pro tip😂Be sure to read PDA entries on the surface, unlike me who also happens to be a slow reader. Alas an amatuer tip/rumour. I'd love to see you play it. It's a wonderful game that can be both beautiful and a bit scary with a great sense of exploration. The controls are your biggest handicap it seems. Catching fish and other things is usually much easier. Otherwise you're picking things up just fine.

Everyone’s prolly already stopped watching… me who’s here for it ❤️ It took me quite a long time my first time playing the game with no knowledge beforehand, I’ve since played the game 3 different times thru and 100% completed the game, I had that fear of deep oceans and this game terrified me at first but it slowly became one of the best experiences I could have asked for Contrary to what you might believe death is a lot more easily dealt with is Subnautica then most games once you get further along it becomes more of a hindrance then anything else lol

5:45 The by far best way to play Subnatuica is using mouse&keyboard. Controllers are absolutely terrible for movement in three dimensional space.
@larswilms8275 Жыл бұрын
Good start, although I am not a fan of the switch controller for this game. It looks quite wanky to be honest, keyboard and mouse work smoother. Also maybe lag? Playing this game for the first time is so much fun, so I will not spoil to much of the (back)story. most of it will be explained during the game anyway, just read the entries in the blogs carefully. Two things I would advise you to do: #1: Gather as much data on your environment as possible by scanning anything that move or doesn't. there is a hint on your screen when you can scan something. #2: Pin recipes of thing you want to make. they will appear on your main screen to remind you. Taking notes is also encouraged in general. Have fun! P.S. On the PC version there is a setting that stops time when the PDA is open. This might help not to miss a lot of things when reading the blogs.

Hi. I've never heard or played this one so this'll be interesting. I must say the graphics are amazing, something my current rig can not support. lol. Having not played, it seems to me that if your escape pod is going to go kaput, that there might be a process of reviving, extending, or preserving its life and function. I wonder if there's a damage report for it with systems that need to be repaired in order to maintain its stability which, then, might indicate things that need to be built in order to achieve that? Something to look for perhaps? Generally speaking, it does seem to be a survival focused game similar to Minecraft. So the early efforts should be on securing shelter or building a replacement one such as a raft. The only thing I"m not sure of is if survival is focused for on top of the water or under the water. I'm leaning more towards that later with the name and theme of the game. One thing I might suggest cheating on is learning if you can actually reach the crashed main ship and if its worth it. It could just be a large burning water-mark for your orientation and never be reachable or, if can be, not be accessible or pillagable. Also, I'm sure you're thinking it but I'm going to say it, there's probably ocean predators that are going to be introduced at some point. I wish you the best :) I'll stick around and see how this goes, too. :)
