Quick non-spoilery tips and facts: Your food can only go above 100 if you eat while at 99 or lower, water caps at 100. Glass lockers are much bigger than normal lockers, which are much bigger than water lockers. Water lockers use twice the titanium compared to the larger locker, so make a base sooner rather than later IF YOU KNIFE THE EXPLODY BOIS THEY POP AND DO NO DAMAGE The story will appear soon, and every event is scripted with your radio and tool progression, so don't worry about time constraints too much.

Oh man, from this first episode, this game seems like a perfect fit. Same as OW it is all about being amazed by the experience and really digging into the lore. Subnautica is not really a puzzle game, but it shares some of the same feeling of exploration that OW has and it also has a somewhat non-linear way of telling its story, which makes it YOUR story, just like in OW.

This playthrough just popped up in my feed, and so far, I'm glad it did! I love that you're taking your time and are interested in the lore and the flavor text. This game brought out my inner scientist too lol. 95+% of LPers play like they're in just such a big darn hurry (regardless of which game it is), so your slow and methodical style and appreciating the details is very refreshing to me =) Regarding the bit of PDA screen that's blocked by the goggles while reading: originally the game did not pause time whenever the PDA was out. That's actually a toggable QoL feature that was only recently added. So, often players would scan things and then resurface to read the new entries (and thus the goggles were auto-removed). The hunger and thirst meters constantly ticking down also added a bit of hurried stress to the reading. But one thing the game doesn't tell you is that the hunger and thirst meters also stop draining if you're ever sitting down. Sorry if someone already mentioned that or if you've discovered it already in a future episode. I'm looking forward to getting caught up.
