Cause I’ve heard that Cartier are using not the best quality gold in their pieces. Hermes, however, have one of the best materials, and they are not even a jewelry brand, that’s all allegedly, of course! 😁

I agree on the cost per gram of some jewlry pieces. Was looking at the Tiffany Knot ring and it weighs 3 grams. Multiply that by current 18k gold cost (gram/Troy oz) and the intrinsic value is around $160.00. The ring retails for $2.5K!

Tiffany has a very subtle rose gold color especially in smaller pieces sometimes I’ve found myself doubting if it’s really rose gold under their bright store lighting 😂 It’s a very nice neutral warm tone that I think suits a larger range of skin tones as opposed to the more brassy tones of other brands. I’m a huge rose gold lover and like all the brands’ interpretation of rose gold, but I would say Tiffany has a similar rose gold tone to Chanel and their beige gold line ☺️

I have bowl that's cost $15 is bigger and look so beautiful. When i laid my eyes upon it waaahh it pulled me in to buy and while i was browsing its only one left ( It's meant to be). The colection is limited. You can def buy bowls and plates that are more beautiful in design and cheaper. The hermes bowl dont have a wow factor, it looks chep unless u told them this is hermes and it cost 100$

That braceler is an investment piece. That piece will doible, even triple in value sooon. Hang on to it and enjoy it. Dont let anyone make you feel bad for investing in yourself and your happiness. Gold is very much an investment asset, i never regret buyingall the jewelry ive bought so far. They have served me well and ive upgraded them from time to time, but having them is an absolute blessing.

I find much more joy in jewelry than bags and I definitely agree with your points! Jewelry has such a large role in civilization, I love how in so many different periods of human history we have always enjoyed adorning ourselves with shiny things. My favorite museum section has always been the period jewelry sections, there’s something so beautiful about looking at pieces that are thousands of years old and were once loved by its owners. We are here for such a short time and I think being able to adorn our bodies with beautiful things is such a simple yet beautiful privilege

@@rui_etc 100 percent on the money! The value of gold of getting higher by the day. I dont know if you listen to Robert Kiyosaki since you are japanese. I just watched a short of him the other day where he said that bags are not assets. He used basketball players as an example of the types of people who get rich playing ball, but dont take well to money. He said most of them are bankrupt because they chosen to buy flashy things (he used purses as an example). And bought their wives/gfs all kinds of fast fashion. If you buy assets that are going to serve you in the long run, then you have disposable cash , meaning anything of value you can quickly dispose of in the event of a national emergency. During the world wars and people were fleeing persecution in europe, people had their gems and gold to use as bartering tools in exchange for their passage to get out of Europe. Even back in the day, gold and jewelry was already utilized as disposable assets! Thank you, and i share your opinion abt jewelry and preferring it over bags. I personally dont care much for bags. One bag lasts me for at least 5 years even if i have a couple in rotation. Post some more jewelery videos soon! Take care!
