As person who played both game and was a british main in both game. If you want to play british tank and have fun, play World of tanks. If you want to play british tank and ready to depressed and suffer, play War thunder.

Premiums in WT are not better than free vehicles unlike in WOT. In fact most of them are either identical or even worse

@@jhin44999 Yepp, right there. Only some event vehicles are that expensive on the marketplace that is good but still requires skill and can be easily killed. WT is more like pay(premium acc) to grind, not p2w like what WoT was with premium ammo back then and how premium vehicles are much better. In WT most vehicles that are premium and avaliable are premium with their economy and research multipliers or they are a unique vehicle, maybe a well known type etc.

I really liked this concept, i played WOT myself but WT is much more realistic and more difficult to play cause you need a lot more to know about the tanks like where to shoot them for example ive never liked the arcady gamestyle of WOT ot hat you have health bars, the 1 moment which let me switch to WT was a direct hit in the front plate of a sherman m4 from a Panzer 4 but it bounced off i wasnt able to pen the frontal armour of a sherman with the panzer 4. all in all i like your vids a lot but i will never come back to WOT

I wouldn't compare World of Tanks to CSGO. CSGO is a highly mechanical-dependant game where there's a clear balance between the power of things. World of Tanks is a highly unbalanced game and every single mechanic is down to RNG - there's precisely nothing down to mechanical skill in that game and matchups are most of the time decided by who has a newer premium tank and more premium consumables. Skill doesn't matter in the slightest in that game unless you give everyone equally-matched vehicles, modules and consumables, which is not the case in 99% of cases. WoT has an Esports scene because the pro players either sink thousands into the game, or are given press accounts.

Well, SKILL does really matter in WoT, RNG just level the playing field a little bit for bad players who say SKILL don't matter and yolo in a opening area. The mechanical skill - aka spoting with your eyes and reactions with your FPS skills - is not ultra important because RNG. TRUE not complain, still need it but not the most important SKILL. The most important SKILL in WoT is your situation awareness, where and when to go, how to position your tank against enemies, when to shot or not because of vision system - balance system so that a player with shit PC can still outplay the guy with top of the line PC who have more pixels and frames. Also Ability to reduce the RNG is also a skill.

How do you explain marks of excellence? Do you really think a brand new player with 100-500 battles has a chance against a purple player with 10k+ battles? People like you think that ultra mechanically demanding stuff like aim in fps games or apm in rts games is all there is to skill in gaming, when in reality timing, positioning, patience, decision making, map knowledge, and general experience in the game play just as big a role if not greater in determining player skill.

General gamers would not like a championship over a game thats about military tactics, gamers should read, study and do a lot of calculations to prepare a game plan on using the correct vehicles depending on the missions in the games. Also that militarism would not look good on a global show

I feel like WT can place a first-time computer game player in a tank; and as long as that person is a history nerd, they can 'succeed' to a degree based on tacitcs knowledge alone. WoT always felt like an arcade mobile game with Chinese players that pump their regions' GDP into the game.

I have maybe only 30 hours in WT rn, while probably 500 in WoT (thanks dad!) and gonne be honest... yeah WoT is more competetive and you need actually learn skill to play it while War Thunder is more of "play for fun" game. Can't lie tho WoT had it's own fun moments too, especially with self-propelled artillery xD

I’m struggle with key binds in war thunder have account for many years and also premium tank ( some captured kv1 765r I’m even not sure what is the name of tank) every time I try to play and lost interest in WT .
