I played a LOT of The Sims back in the Pentium II era. But, I never correctly played the game, or at least to its end. I always just found more fun to work on building the perfect house.

I just started the video but oh my, the memories ♥ I remember playing it after school. My dad had downloaded it when it came out and would let me play it sometimes 😁 Since then I've been a fan of the sims and had played them all (except for a lot of expansion packs because they're expensive 😶)

How did you get it to run? For me the game doesnt launch when i press play. I even have compatibilty mode XP service 2&3 and run as admistrator on

Installed the sims 1 complete edition on windows 11 without any trouble and apply also the widescreen patch to play in 1920x1080 resolution.

@@Jeebiez It's not a potion it's a charm called Age of Instant. Love that you're doing this! Sims 1 was all I played 2000-2017. Now I play Sims 1, 2 and 3. Used to play 4 but lost patience/interest in it. ~FM :)
