Nintendo does have it down. We literally texted each other and in 3 minutes we were playing Smash. Good times man. You nailed the aesthetic of the Joel Haver animation style!

I like the transition into Star Wars stuff. But make room for this stuff too. It shows way more personality.

Definitely will. Although not sure if I’ll ever do animation like this again. It took me ages 😭

Wow dude, I forgot that I was subscribe to your channel (not to be mean haha) and then you hit me whit a very interesting video of a point of view we don’t usually talk enough that is how we change our opinions on game when we grow up. Ngl, this ending got me moved with nostalgia, love your work!

I’m not gonna lie, this hit me on various different notes, both as someone who loves games but also loves making/talking about them. Nice video essay! Really makes me glad that I’m not the only one that feels this way on some things nowadays.

This is another reason why online / realtime update requirement for single player / couch co-op games is downright stupid because it hinders the fun you expect to get after all the effort of arranging your friends/fams to sit down and play together. "10 gigs of update? Welp! I'll bounce." "Your internet provider went bonkers? That's it, then?"

incredibly put man, holy shit, you've read my mind with every comment! haha, WELL there is still that chance of newer games coming out that have that classic 'arcadey' feel too em ;)
