Why is everyone focusing on Vince Gil , and not realizing the awesome talent of the young lady . My dear God Bless You , as a musician myself , I know what it takes to cover a musical rendition of one of the world's beloved guitarist Mr. Chet Atkins . Thank You.

Nervous wouldn't even begin to describe how I would have felt in your position! Playing in front of one of your heroes would be hard enough. Add to it that he's right there in your face! Pardon my language, but the only word that comes to mind is total "badassery". You totally killed it! Thank you for sharing!

I teared up a little there. What a legacy you are now a part of! I heard that fingerstyle arrangement first when I bought a pirated Doc Watson instruction video from Bangkok. At the same time, I also heard the gorgeous Tony Rice flatpick arrangement on his first album, Guitar (Rebel). I heard Vince Gill first c. 1989 on "Lifetime of Night time" with Pure Prairie League on All India Radio. Can't forget the life-changing impact of any of those.

Amazing! I know how you feel. I met my hero, Tommy Emmanuel in December, and pretty much blacked out from joy, and sounded like an idiot. I'm not good enough yet to dare play in front of him, but he played my guitar, and that was enough. Great vid. I'd love to meet Vince, as well. Chetnuts unite!

Even more impressive is that you were only 19 on this performance - but poised and ready. Keep at it and you will be one of the truly great guitarists. I wish Chet could've seen this - but somehow, I think he did ...
