Sits and tells stories like "Uncle Vince" around a campfire, then the ANGEL voice arrives. What a humble, god-given soul.

Yes! Vince Gill is the Man!!! I love him and his music so much, he captures my heart with his sexy velvety smooth voice. Too bad he’s married and so far out of reach. Every cowgirl has a fantasy, Vince Gill is mine. Keep up the good work, you’re the greatest ever born.

I've seen Vince Gill over the years on TV along with a lot of other C&W artists and I've liked him.Moving on the best part of 30 years I listen to a lot of different genres including C&W, R&R, BOOGIE WOOGIE, FOLK, ROCK, TRAD.,Up to tonight I wanted to listen to music,, until I listened to Vinces' story of his dad meeting Dolly. The guy is a better comedian than a lot of comedians, with his story telling it's just fantastic. He's not half bad on a guitar either. Now i'm enjoying the story before the music and this just adds to the enjoyment of listening.

Seamus Hughes I agree completely. Vince is as funny as the best stand up comics. Great songwriter, singer and guitar player too. Very generous and a good friend as well. I’m a fan!

First time I ever heard this story was when Vince's fan club had a message board. The lady who asked him to get up and sing with her posted about it. Second time I heard it was on NBC's Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Vince & Patty were on the show and Vince was telling the story. This was back when the musical guests actually got a chance to sit in the chair and talk to the host of the show. The story was hillarious back then and it's still hillarious now!

Have heard this story many times. I looked it up tonight because I needed a smile and good laugh, during these scary and unknown times we are going through (Coronavirus). Took my mind elsewhere for awhile. Thank you Vince Gill...you are very talented 👍😷🙏
