hey man I got a 1990 f450 with the non turbo 7.3 and I'm have the hardest time getting it started up and I watched a couple of your videos and you are a whole lot more knowledgable about it than I am and I need a lil help. I put my multi meter to the fuel shut off solenoid wire and I'm getting continuity to the engine block and every wire in the wiring harness but when I unplug the Engine cold temp switch and the high rpm solenoid I go back to getting the right continuity and when I turn the key to the on position I'm not getting power to the fuel shut off solenoid nor will the glow plug solenoid trigger my wait to start light won't even come on. please help

You have atleast 2 problems or atleast 1 ignition switch problem. What is an ignition switch? It is a little white plastic box that has several contacts. When you manually turn your key, this ignition switch box slides contacts sending power too both fuel solenoid and glow plug module. Where is this located? Under the steering wheel by drivers knee mounted on steering column. How to test this without jumping to conclusions??? Set your meter down for now. Pick up your test light... Key in off position fuel solenoid will have no power. Now turn key in on position but not crank. At this point your test light should be sending power too fuel solenoid and also glow plug module. Glow plug module recieves power as long as fuel solenoid does... Let me know... accepted $tips 😁
