I tried a sample of the YSL and thought it looked really pretty but I couldn’t tell if it was making my chin break out; maybe due to the fragrance? I need a really good, go-to, everyday neutral eyeshadow palette. I have a lot of “fun” palettes but I really need a “simmer down - it’s 7am” palette 😂

Bummer on the foundation! I think Tarte makes great neutral palettes. The juicy palette (original, large one that is now discontinued) is one of my fave palettes of all time.

Okay so on your recommendation I tested the coffee and whiskey scent from Bath&Body Works and ooooooohhhh my I am obsessed! You are sooo right there is just something about it. I mean yes you smell the coffee and whiskey but together it’s magical. I had to go to three different stores because they were sold out everywhere.

Mandy, you’ve never steered me wrong when it comes to things you recommend so I went ahead and ordered the scent you spoke of and while I was at it I ordered the leather and brandy one. I know Tom Ford has an ombré leather scent that I ADORE so I’m hoping the Bath & Body Works one is similar. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about the Makeup by Mario palette. It’s the only palette of his I own and I’m having fun playing with it. I actually had a young woman compliment me on my eyeshadow while I was wearing the MBM palette and that’s never happened to me before. Quite nice! 🥰

Hi Shannon....I haven't found any other palettes with the formula like this one, but you can check out Essence...they are some of my favorite shadows in the drugstore category. They have a lot of shades, and I know they have some rosy palettes. Hope this helps!

I find when I put a darker shade on my outer V of my lid it really makes my eyes appear smaller than they are, everyone on here has to add depth to the outer corner, I do NOT see why a look can’t NOT have that darker end to it…. Thank you for reassuring me with you look that you do not have to have a darker edge ,) My new favorite scents is by Jean Paul the “Guiltar”, OMG amazing when first sprayed and even better during the dry down just AMAZING

Question for Mandy. Do you recommend I get a mascara primer? I’m completely new to women’s makeup. I have only used mascara on its own, but I can’t get my lashes looking anywhere near as full and pretty as yours. Will a primer make the difference? I have been trying to actually make my lashes physically thicker by applying castor oil to them on a daily basis. I also purchased an eyelash curler (which I’m still getting used to). Please HELP. Does the castor oil actually make lash hairs grow thicker? Do you recommend anything? Should I get some mascara primer and use that instead? I personally think primer makes a huge difference. I don't let it dry in between...I find it makes it harder for the mascara to adhere. I apply primer, apply mascara, and then go on to the other eye. It makes everything look more voluminous and also aids in helping to make sure there is less flaking and smudging. And thank you!!!
