Right? I'm glad Kristi talked about that. I kept seeing Norvina spew everywhere, and I'm like ok, y'all say every damn time right before a palette comes out that it "got leaked", yet so much at once doesn't mean that it's the right thing to do business-wise. You need to keep them wanting more. We've got to enjoy what we have or just miss them for a while. Someone said the Norvina palettes were throwaway shades from other palettes, and I would have to agree that that really does seem the case. Before that, I really was wanting to see more of this palette. I think I dig the colors in Carli's, but it's too soon afterwards, and the packaging is off brand. Jackie's looks THOROUGH, and I respect that. I'm not subbed to her btw. 3rd party view lol.

Katherine Gabrielle I feel like they could have waited for the norvina volume palettes and could have brought them all at once as a set. For being a pro pigment palette, could’ve done that. They said they did it because they gotta keep up with the releases and be on demand. I still don’t buy it. I’m happy I have my jackie Aina palette and so glad she did this on her channel.

I found out with Kenya and I am a chuffed about buying it this weekend. I can't use mainstream pallets, the color just comes out... Wrong. Jackie is talking about releasing a purple pallette and I can't even. Purple is my thing, but the undertone doesn't like the ones I find. I can't believe i didnt even know Jackie Aina a week ago. I love this video and pallette and the warmth on the good side of KZbin!!!

I appreciate you not mentioning that it’s “extra” pigmented for darker women...I saw some reviews where people said it was made mostly for dark skinned women 🙄 like no it was just made with them in mind and anyone who can work a makeup brush can use.

The Jackie Aina palette (imo) is one of the best palette releases of this year from ABH and 2019 in general. I went to Ulta a couple of days ago and let me tell you that this palette looks 10x more beautiful in person than on screen!

I feel like this is also true for the Carli Bybel palette. Her video made it look so beautiful. The ABH website and all the other promo photos did nothing for it. I would probably have bought it except I got the ND Metropolis palette...... and I just caved and got the Tati Palette, so I'm really glad I didn't spend the extra money.

I saw that Norvina palette come out so close to the JA one and all I thought was they must not really care at all about Jackie and what it means to have a black woman collaborating on this type of a palette. The Jackie collab was very different and really should have been given a lot of space to shine.

The best eyeshadow palette of 2019 is the ABH Jackie Aina palette! I’m medium skin tone and the colours are amazing quality - so silky and pigmented. She truly did a great job.

I think people use them to cover up an umblended eyeshadow. Lashes shouldn't be needed to make an eyelook come together. Most of us don't wear false lashes everyday, and our eye shadow looks great because we take the time to work on our blending. 🤷

I have very hooded eyes and puffy eyes, I find that nothing but the traditional smokey eye works. There are a couple of dedicated videos for hooded eyes on youtube. I found them very helpful.

How do they hate you? Like irritate you eye ? Cuz it could be the glue OR the brand. I don’t love lashes honestly but if I must - lol cuz there are moments where I must - Kiss lashes have never done me wrong. So again it could be the lash glue and or the brand. Lily lashes 😤😤 I can’t do. No matter the glue. But influencers/youtubers swear by them... 😒😒... L’Oréal’s lash-glue it’s so good with Kiss lashes. Just thought i shared ☺️

I bought that pallet after watching her use it over and over in her IG stories. She hit pan so you know she LOVES what she made and it’s honestly not something you see often. I actually bought that foundation for my wedding day because of how much you loved it! I've been watching you for some time now religiously! And based on your explanation of your skin and the products that you've liked, we seem to have the same skin type so I felt comfortable buying it. All of my foundations are medium coverage because I'm not a full coverage gal but for my wedding I needed to be set in place!
