I was so confused that I never saw Perception 0. I literally scrolled through the whole video. "How could they not include Perception 0! It's easily a top 4 seeker skill and they just forgot about it!" Oops. Silly neutral cards. Two things I noted. 1. "Skills should be used when you want to use them." This was said about Surprising Find. It's such a simple statement but so elegant. I love it. 2. Concerning Eye of Truth being a one-off. It's not actually a one-off and that's why it is so good. Not only does it remove one of the worst treacheries in the encounter deck (and in some scenarios you will go through that encounter deck multiple times), it also applies that bonus any time anyone else hits a copy of that treachery. I know you said that -- but I'm just pointing out that the fact it repeats its bonus means it isn't a one-off, and that's why it's worth the 5xp. It can hit several times, much like a weapon. It repeats that bonus like an asset would. I don't disagree with any of the rankings. Spot on from my experience. I loved this video and can't wait to see more like this!

Love your Arkham Horror content! And great job on all the videos you have done so far. Learned quite a lot from it. Would it be possible for you guys to maybe make a rating for all the "return to boxes" which exist right now? It would be good to know, which are worth it to spend money on. Maybe categories like new cards and gameplay content would be nice to know. Keep up your great work!

It's looking like Return To boxes are going out of print, so we aren't making any new content regarding them until there is an announcement that they'll be printed again or returning in some form. My advice is if you're interested a Return To box, it's in stock, and you can afford it, grab it.

Practice Makes Perfect can find Survey the Area, even though it cannot be committed to the skill test. The committing part of the search is done only if able, but you can still find a card that's Practiced. It is still only added to your hand if the test is successful, but since it is a valid target you do have to choose it if there are no other options in the searched cards. You could definitely argue that's not how the card is supposed to work even though that is what it says. The giveaway could be that it does not really specify what happens to cards that you were not able to commit if the test is not successful. Go figure.

Since Kate is the first investigator with a printed skill test on her signature weakness, Eye of Truth can lock it away in the Victory display. Assuming she can take Seeker level 5.

I'm a big fan of Fey after watching my brother run it in Silas during our 4-player Blurse run. That card became his signature card.

I also love Fey in Silas. Truth be told, I like any card with wild icons in Silas though.

Fun video, but I would push back against the idea that Vicious Blow II is better than Deduction II. When you fight in this game you almost always use weapons, which almost always deal +1 or +2 damage. This means that Vicious Blow II generally only saves you one action… the same as the basic Vicious Blow. Whereas Deduction II generally saves you two actions, since it scoops up two additional clues. That’s not to say Vicious Blow II is worthless, it has some applications, but Deduction II is the more powerful upgrade.

I want to like Inquiring mind more than I do. However, I really like Survey the Area, probably a lot more than you do (caveat, Ursula is my only seeker so far, and I used her to bow murder things) I’d rate Eureka a little higher, if I didn’t just hate the art.

Great way to hype the all skills run. The best Seeker skill is Practice Makes Perfect. Not a skill, but boosts skills so much I think it gets a pass.

Is that how Canadians pronounce 'eureka'?

No. We're just adding a little extra spice.

@@PlayingBoardGames I just like to know, as I use your channel as a Canadian culture channel, the arkham is just a great extra

PBG properly represents all Canadian culture. If Canadians don’t pronounce it as eu reka now, they will soon.
