My kids are all dual Mexiko/USA citizens. Because of this, I qualify as a US. citizen for permanent residency in Mexiko automatically and after 2 years residency, I can apply for Mexikan citizenship (as apposed to the usual 5 years that’s required. 😊

Just to add something more magical, “ la Bamba” is folk song from Veracruz Mexico , which is where the video starts. It was transformed into the rock and roll version we all love by a Mexican American Ritchie Valen in Los Angeles California, which is where the singing starts. The song traveled all around the world and touched different cultures in different ways, which is what we see throughout the video.
