Tama si Coach Tim nung sinabi niya na malaking bagay ang pagiging beterano ng mga players niya sa Asiad dahil walang mga nagpapasikatan at nagkakanya-kanya sa team bukod pa sa may chemistry na agad dahil matagal na silang magkakakilala ( lalo na at maiksi lang ang oras ng preparation nila). Siguro idagdag ko na rin na hindi sila agad natataranta at nahihinaan ng loob pag nalalamangan. Kaya salamat sa mga PBA players at kay Ange Kouame syempre at sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Gilas Pilipinas sa malaking karangalan na to.

Isa pang factor dito is ung pressure. Centennial team back in '98, was stocked! As in superteam talaga and they are expected to win it all. Pero ung line up nung last Asian Games, kaming solid NSD fans lang ang naniniwalang mananalo tayo ng gold kaya hindi sila pressured masyado.

Maganda naging resulta ng Gilas pero sana hwag na ulit gawin ito ng SBP na nagmamadali at last minute na magta-tap ng players mula sa PBA. We have to be grateful at nag adjust ang PBA pero siguradong mahihirapan ulit makaulit ng ganyan. Sana mag establish na sila ng program at permanent head coach dahil napakadami ng Qualifying tournament ng FIBA na talagang babangga sa iba't ibang liga.
