What I love about this Ghidorah is how very snake like he looks compared to other Ghidorah figures at this scale. And the fact that he has ball joints for articulation seems fitting.

I’m gonna hope that bandai doesn’t follow with this unfortunate trend where they downscale kaiju when put up with other figures of the same line it would be a blessing if this doesn’t happen to a possible kaizer ghidorah rerelease But at least playmates is capable of upscaling certain figures which gives me hope that this isn’t all we’re getting

its really a shame neca wasn't able to make a ghidorah figure...the potential was truly massive for them, plus making neca gvk figures wouldve been cool, but the playmates is a nice version for a much simple yet very pretty accurate rendition of the figure

Indeed.. TOO Massive to take a chance on apparently. I guess they knew more than we saw and didn't see it as financially viable. Shame really. Really wish they could've held on to the license. Them doing GvK stuff would've been top tier! Finally would've gotten a damn Mechagodzilla from them at that point lol

Oh i hear DOOM music, Rob without fail!!!! Apologies for missing the premiere, but got to say, playmates did a nice job with this figure. The sculpt is nice with the details throughout the body and the paint compliments very well though the face is a bit sloppy but that's fine. The articulation is the best part and most surprisingly, the heads are articulated, nice. Great review Rob!

This figure is trash. The inside connection is already stressed. I'd recommend Jakks Pacific Ghidorah.
