Little fun fact about that Tiamat figure: it is based on the Godzilla Dominion concept art and not on GxK model nor GxK concept art. Not just the colors matches the one from the Dominion concept, but also the fins around the body, in the film it's a single very long fin, while in the concept art they are many smaller fins

Here’s my take on “TiddyMat”. As a customizer I will say these things are customizing heaven. They are so fun repaint and I think playmates knows this to a degree. They are cheap and I really appreciate playmates for at least sculpting the teeth in the mouth instead of leaving her with grandma mouth. Decent surprise and I cannot wait to start my repaint of her.

I do like the translucent dorsal plates on the Energised Godzilla but I agree that a darker base colour would’ve made the the blue paint applications and the figure overall better.

Either a darker base color, or like many here stated, a translucent base with the right amount of dry brushing. Im glad they made it, of course, but man, they could've COOKED COOKED on that guy.

Out of multiple Walmarts only 2 have had a single tiamat figure each and haven't restocked on the kong with axe or energized godzilla. They seem to primarily be stocking up on the Beast glove kong and godzilla evolved 6inch solo figures in stores. The Tiamat I got was further down the toy isle away from the Godzilla section on the top shelf laying on its side so make sure you look thoroughly for the figures.

I must say, I came here for Tiamat only, but stayed until the end. Tiamat looks amazing, love her colors even though they are concept art, and I'm seriously questioning myself if I should keep going with this collection after having watched your review of her (months ago I thought that with King Ghidorah I was settling with this line, but when Tiamat was announced.. and now is out there... I don't know) As for Godzilla and Kong. Kong looked WAY better in his promo pics, I really hoped he'd have that blueish skin tone, but whatever. The addition of the axe is great tho, just not too much to me to go and buy a whole another Kong just for it. At least not now. As for Goji, I still don't have a "regular" Godzilla in my collection (almost bought the previous GxK darker heat ray one, but nope) so this blue one actually looks pretty good to fill in the crew. Man this video really is making me keep adding Godzilla figures to my collection, even though months ago I thought I was done with it 😅 Amazing video as always, thanks for the reviews!

Tiamat color looks manda,but I can only see Tamamitune. The reproduction of the many tentacles has been highly praised. Kong is more real then 2021. I'm glad they removed the damage gimmick.
