The rock must be one of my favorites honestly, the articulation and all the small details really makes it stick out, and all the ball joints and the swivels makes it really nice to pose it honestly

8:17 The only thing that could save SHMA at this point. Cool to see Wingard keep his promise on including Doug in the sequel and as a result, he actually got merch! Definitely should get more. I like to think that the rock is just a crab curled up that Doug eats. Also, does anyone else think that Shimo looks a bit like a wingless Lugia from Gen 2 Pokémon?

For 9.99 (even after we printed trillions and inflated the currency) you can’t go wrong. The playmates GxK line is phenomenal so far. I quite literally like their new heat Ray Godzilla more than my SHM G2021. I look at that thing and wonder where the other $65 went

Playmates is doing pretty well so far, yeah, some maybe be a bit cursed. But all things considered, I’d rather have SOMETHING than nothing… even more so.. I’d rather have THIS over the rushed out Wave 01 Playmates Classics they were pushing out when they first started lol

Yes, the two pack lizard has better paint. Checked mine. The spikes seem to be a mix of barely translucent dark plastic with a light touch of spray paint.

The colors of this particular Shimo figure makes me think a lot of Krystalak from Godzilla Unleashed. The bright white and purple crystals are remarkably similar to his design, especially with the crystals on the back of his head.

you joke about T pose Shimo but i actually think that he/she looks good standing on it's back legs (wish he/she had alternate hands with resting hands) and i feel like in the movie he/she will be the main reason Kong now has the glove, if anyone seen Fallen Kingdom with the indoraptor, pretty much the same thing minus kong getting his arm torn off, just broken. would be a cool introduction to the kaiju seeing it standing taller then kong and lifting him up

In my opinion, I wish they would’ve made shimo a bit bigger. 7 inch, 8 inch or maybe, just maybe 9 inch. Shimo should’ve been a bit bigger since it is supposed to be up to 300-400 feet tall standing on all fours, in the movie. But I’m happy with what we got👍

My two pack shimo just came in, while I don't have the regular release I would say the two pack is better. The spines on shimo is painted and translucent which is a nice point of the figure. and the paint is pretty solid. Overall it's pretty good in terms of what the price is and what your getting.

I haven’t read the leaks so it’s entirely possible that what I’m about to theorize is actually a spoiler (and if so, apologies in hindsight) but something tells me that Shimo is going to be related to Godzilla in some way like maybe he’s a genetic anomaly (kind of like how the Newborn from Alien Resurrection is technically a Xenomorph but it’s so heavily mutated that it barely resembles a Xeno) or perhaps Shimo WAS a Godzilla at one point but absorbed so much of that energy that eventually causes Godzilla to evolve that he’s morphed into something unrecognizable. I guess that’s just radiation mutation that I just described. IDK, we’ll find out when the movie drops
