You know it’s really interesting when you go back and watch highlights from consecutive postseasons like this and see the same people and the same patterns over and over: Kershaw starts off well, they leave him in way too long, he falls apart, they take him out, they bring on Baez, Baez falls apart immediately 😂

Update: October 7 2023 Kershaw started game one of the NLDS against the D-Backs and gave up 6 runs in the first inning while only getting one out.

Love your baseball vids 👍🏻 In fairness to Kershaw, in the 2014 NLDS game 1, he didn’t give up anything besides the 2 solo shots until that disastrous 7th inning. His pitch count was in the 90-100 range at that point, and it was clear he was starting to struggle, so I don’t understand why the manager didn’t take him out at that point, especially in a post season game. As a younger baseball fan who wasn’t watching in 2014, I’ve heard about Kershaw’s postseason nightmares, but I’m glad I get to see some of what actually happened in the games in this video as it shows that some of the struggles probably weren’t entirely Kershaw’s fault.

I guess you didn’t read the actual report. They didn’t do it in the postseason (which this video is about) and multiple former players have said the dodgers were cheating too(almost as if when the Athletic said it was a league wide issue, they meant it was a league wide issue)
