When we got Perry I was stoked cause he has the most playoff experience on the team. The ONLY guy to be the cup final several times which is valuable af

Colorado and Dallas are the only western teams ahead of them in GF. Dallas 4 goals Colorado 8 goals. Both played 1 more game. But goals against? They're tied with the Rangers at 226 goals against. But goals for? Oilers have the 3rd best differential in the league. 1 goal behind Florida 2 behind Carolina. They don't have a single d-man in the minus side if +/- Skinner is tied for second most wins on the season. With Hellebuyck and 4th best GAA in the league. This was a guy who was below .800 before the coaching change. His numbers are better than Shesterkin Oettinger Binnington Vasilevskiy Sorokin Georgiev. Oilers are deeper and their Defense and Goaltending is better.

Skinner isn’t going into these playoffs a rookie,this is a goalie that if he plays the way he has since the coaching change,the Oilers have just as good a goalie as any team,but this will be the year Skinner makes a name as one of the elite goalies in the League…

Oilers are a really good team when their on, like all the top teams, overall team D and consistency will be key to making a run at the cup.

The Coach needs to give the stars some rest the last two games....ie McD, Leon, Hyman, Nuge, Nurse, Ekholm, Bouchard, Kane, Skinner, even Fogs . Call up Broberg, Ernie and Lavoie.....Go with 7 Dman...Insert Broberg n Stecher as a pair and give our top 2 pairs a game each for rest. Nevermind trying to jockey for position...we had an opportunity vs Canucks last saturday and we blew it! Prepare to battle Kings or Vegas....
