@@TH-tl6sy I am a huge Drai and McDavid fan but the Leon was lazy on two of the goals this game. Not because he didn't block shots, its because he didn't come back and take his guy on the back check. If you don't point thing out, they don't get better. That is not going to be good enough in the playoffs.

It was Bouchard that coasted in to 'check' McKinnon on the final play and didn't actually touch McK or the puck. HE let up rather than bodycheck McK.

@@Canv1000 Oh. I agree. There is enough "not good enough" to go around. Manson wasn't nice to McDavid. There was no reason for Bouch to not plaster him into the boards. That doesn't take away the fact that it wasn't Bouch's player that scored. Even though Bouch screwed up, If the Drai and McDavid had their guys, there would be no one for McKinnon to pass to. The Avs players didn't give up on the play because there were only a few seconds left. They skated their asses off to get to a spot to receive a pass and guess what, they scored. That overtime goal was a direct result of small mental lapses by all 3 Oiler players. Not good enough. If they want to win a cup, every players needs to be 100% committed and present when on their shift. 99% is not good enough.
