I´m not an Aeldari fan in either way - but this episode was over after 10-15 minutes. I ended up fast forwarding through the whole video after that, which I usually don´t do. I´d greatly apprechiate it if you had somewhat evenly matched armies - it makes way much more interesting videos (and battles) to watch. This was nothing more than a bloodbath, and it was over even before it began.

Luck, the dice, whatever factor that happens to get this result, its just how it happens sometimes. Not everything can be close and tight. @PlayOnTabletop you guys are top tier. honest question on how to handle games like this, I attended my first tournament last week and had a horribly bad matchup (my chaos knights into voltan with no effective cover for my guys) and the game felt over turn 2 and frankly I was borderline going to pack up (it was the last game of the day) any tips on how to mentally do better and make games like this still feel fun for both my opponent and myself.
@DanthebobGaming4 ай бұрын
I mean part of that sounds like a terrain issue. A tournament table should have enough terrain for effective cover, especially with Knights new ability to shoulder barge through walls. In terms of handling a game like that. I had a game at my last tournament where I did really well with my Dread Mob game 1 and ran right into a 5 Demolisher Cannon Guard list, that game was literally over by turn 2 but we had a good laugh about how absurd it was

@scottdevnull5778 You're in a competitive setting, so there's always gonna be a little bit more pressure. To try to help yourself when you feel you're going a little on tilt, try to remember you're still there to play a game, enjoy your hobby. It's not just a simple game, it's one with dice someday the chaos gods just aren't on your side. And to keep it fun, try to figure out what's fun for you. Maybe you like to roll dice so you can just say screw objectives im just gonna shoot and fight. Or maybe you can just try having a conversation with your opponent, take the edge of the match. And maybe sometimes when the opponent isn't working with you, you're not enjoying yourself, you just wanna go home. Maybe then it's ok to just say "I'm sorry, I'm not winning this match and I'm tired so you got this well played"
