The PlayPump water system is a children's merry-go-round attached to a water pump, a raised storage tank, an easy-to-use faucet, and four billboards surrounding the tank. The life-changing invention can provide easy access to clean drinking water, lead to improvements in health, education, gender equality, and economic development, and bring joy to children. The PlayPump water system provides an environmentally-friendly and sustainable supply of clean drinking water with ten years of guaranteed maintenance.
Help us bring joy and access to clean drinking water to children and families in Africa. Together, we can make a difference.

PlayPumps International's mission is help improve the lives of children and their families by providing easy access to clean drinking water, enhancing public health, and offering play equipment to millions across Africa

My interest is with reservation of wet lands within townships around, i think that if we can have a way of preserving such areas the issue of not having enough water by 2025 moving forward can also be addressed. Water is becoming scars, therefor wetlands are the holding cells for such problems. We defiantly need to protect our wetlands. Sam.

William Cox the older women of the village had to take to the pumps after the children got bored with it. It's harder than it's made to seem here. So older women had to do the undignified task f spinning a stupid merry go round to get water when the kids wouldn't

Interesting. No donkeys or other beasts available to do the work? It seems self evident that bringing water to drout ridden communities would affect-and improve quality of life-for everyone, not just the old women. Did no one else volunteer to bring to the villages fresher water than any other local community well or ford could get at any price? Seems strange. Isn't water more precious than any other commodity there? What were the other citizens doing, while all this pure, potable, treasure was being ignored? Or, is water gathering a traditional task for the old? Thanks for helping to explain.

William Cox the older women are available to do the work. The younger women have other tasks. Men have their work. It became difficult for small children. Look into Will MacAskill he explains the issues with this way better.

+Elizabeth Warren Explain your inappropriate and uninformed comment. Clearly you believe all these people ought to just turn on the tap connected to their expensive, privatised city reticulated water scheme.
