@@Next-xm2dh There actually is a like 3d fighting engine build to supposedly be able to make fighting games simply. It was being called 3D mugen for a while but I'm having trouble remembering what it was called. Edit: EF-12 Fighting game maker is what it was called.

Yup, more specifically, the sequel that came out for the PS2! Funnily enough, that spoof video was actually my discovery to Fighter Maker. Sadly, said video (Tekken X Street Fighter spoof) is no longer in KZbin, the uploader deleted his channel for unknown reasons. Wish I was able to download that before it got removed, shit was hilarious as fuck. Not even Wayback Machine has archived it, so to speak.

I can picture this game being Mugen 3D but if there was a Mugen 3D game it could have a way better and simple create your moves and character generator system.

@@GenesHand Nice but Mugen 3D would be good still with a simple way to create moves and characters. like example people can create set of moves base any game, like tekken 3, MK4, street fighter ex, and soul edge. then have a simple create a character feature that is almost saints row 3 and modern soul calibur create a fighter program.

@@bobbynick5358 That is what EF-12 is. It just doesn't have as big a community as Mugen since 3d animating is more involved then sprite work. It's just lacking the character creator you want, but Mugen doesn't have that either.

Glad they aren't playing fighter maker 2. That thing will literally destroy a ps2. Loved it but it melted several ps2 trays. CD-roms were bad enough but FM2 spinned way too damn fast. >.

Just the fact that it was a cd-rom and that it probably had to access to many parts of the disc for data. Unlike the ps2's dvd-roms, the cd-rom parts seemed to require a lot more spin and would actually get quite loud. Fighter Maker 2 though just seemed to be on a whole level of its own. After a while, the middle opening of the disk tray would show signs of melting and would start to leave scratches on other discs. I had to replace .hack vol 1 twice and xenosaga ep1 almost got there before i realised what was happening. Now I loved fighter maker 2, but had to stop using it due to the danger to ps2s. :

That's disappointing. Was thinking about buying it but my ps2 is already really old and screams like it's in pain most of the time. Don't think I should risk it.

@@Superluigi881 Yeah I wouldn't. Maybe an iso on your pc if there's an emulator that can run it but i wouldn't risk a usable ps2
