Hello dear viewers! :)
Today the PLAYSTATION 3 enters the workshop once again. The console has been waiting for its turn in my waiting room for electro patients for a long time. Finally, the day has come when I can lean over it to render assistance. I bought it on allegro for about 90 PLN in the set you see on the screen, i.e. console, wiring, two controllers, including one non-original, while in the drive I found a disc with the game GRAN TURISMO 5, a little bonus. I don't know why I kept thinking that the model of this console was CECH-H. It wasn't until I started shooting this video that I realized it was the same model as the one the previous video was about. Although maybe that's a good thing, because the model with the letter L differs from the H model in that the NVIDIA RSX graphics chip and CELL processor in it were made using a 65-nanometer technology process. In the Cech H model, RSX is unfortunately still 90nm technology which, of course, translated into higher power consumption and, of course, higher temperatures. The seller listed the console as defective because the console immediately after turning it on runs like a dryer.... Which, by the way, you can hear with your own ears.
Of course, I tested the console thoroughly beforehand, it worked for a long time and without failure and this is a good sign for me. If it had been otherwise I would have known that I had just stepped into the big G. In the previous episode , the hero of which was the PLAYSTATION 3 console, I showed you how to disassemble and clean this model and then how to replace the battery bios. This time we take on the DELID of the CELL processor and RSX graphics chip. My only concerns are the seal from the service center that rummaged through this console in 2017 and, of course, the ubiquitous dirt. However, I am of good cheer and hope that we will soon find out what is going on here and whether there is still a chance for this console. A console that not so long ago pleased the eye with excellent titles.
For the procedure you will need
A scalpel (in this case a razor blade :P)
a wooden stick
something to undermine such as a case opener
and something hard and thin to support the blade in my case a wallpaper knife
alcohol
heat-conductive paste
thermopads
While playing Gran Turismo, I noticed that the car models in the list take a very long time to load. I will still try out of curiosity to clean the laser lens with alcohol and see if it has any effect, we will see.
By the way. did you also most often chose Zonde. Let us know!
And one more thing! Oj Mr. serviceman one thing you forgot I wonder if anyone will notice.
If you liked the video and want more leave a sub and a paw up I salute you and now stay tuned.
