The "Tekken 3" of this franchise. And unfortunately the game is tragically underrated, but all those cinematic supers deserved recognition because they are very well made for a "minor" 3d game. It's clearly tiers above the standards for cinematic supers in the SFEX games, Rival Schools, and other contemporaries.

Since Konami is slowly coming back from gaming world, I hope they do something with Bloody Roar. A collection would be nice. Or a new game (god I wish...)

@@videogamerzero1schannel Damn, I totally forgot that Rocket Knight Adventures had a collection. Those games were part of my childhood. I still haven't tried Suikoden.

I truly think a modern collection is possible. Eighting has been working with Capcom on their fighting collections, so they can easily take that experience to Bloody Roar.

Oh shit! BR 2 absolutely owns, although I'm a pretty big fan of 3 and Primal Fury, too. 4 is... _unique._ I hope Konami and Eighting can remember that this series exists, some day.

That's is a bad ass Final Fantasy VII print. Remember renting Bloody Roar from my local video store my friend worked at. She always let me rent games longer and waive my late fees.

Beach was supreme with Wave Race... Doods, the best water in 3D was from Nintendo.

I think a new BR game still looks unlikely, because it has nothing to do with Konami, but it's also true that the probability has been slowly rising because of this current "revival" direction of Konami... especially the fact they are open to outsourcing, which is BR's only hope. And the original makers, Eighting, are still active in the fg genre... their latest project is the Hunter x Hunter MvC-like game. But if a big company hands out the budget it's fine. (Eighting also made TvC and MvC3 for Capcom).

Would love to see 3d fighting game crossovers, like Tekken X Bloody Roar. 2 series I grew up with.

Things turned out in a way that TK went big and became the big winner of the genre, and BR died along with many other "b class" 3d fgs in the 90s and early 00s. They are in completely different positions for that matching to be possible. It's not a stretch to call it impossible, i'm sorry to say. That is proven by the fact that Harada doesn't even want to collab with Virtua Fighter, that is (or was) actually a famous franchise and a direct rival. So TK became so big and powerful, while other 3d fgs kept falling off, that Harada became snob and don't want to set up collabs that don't clearly help both sides. In a twitter talk with a fan, he asked for a VF guest character, and Harada said that would only happen if VF gets a brand new game. So if he looks down on even VF, that was once a strong rival, then BR has absolutely zero chances.

Subathon? Max, surely you jest. You're not ready. Not quite sure how this plan will work but hope it goes well when planning it with the rest of the Doods.
