This build is great, the rom set is SOLID, I wish I could use the rom files on another build. This UI is good, but when you go into a game and exit out it's a whole 'thing' , wish I knew more about changing this stuff

i MOD them for customers. My best flash drive has always been the Sandisk Cruzer. I use the 64gb and they run perfectly fine in the 2np player slot. Other brands seem to lag and stutter. I even bought some nice Kingston 64's and they were laggy when it came to the PSX mini. Great sticks otherwise. Anyhow, seems like Sandisk is your best bet when messing with PSX mini.

That is quite true and why Sony would have charged a lot more for a 200-600+ Games Plug-In Play System -- Since it would include some Very Rare games people are fighting tooth and nail over and could easily market off of that. (Since some folks have paid $400+ for one Ultra Rare PS1 game alone -- So a system that included said Game and several other hard to find Titles would be wet dream to them.)

Wow man! Thats gotta b a gd chunk of the library! How many games are in the library? Ok I looked it up. 1300. So dang u got half of them and hopefully its the awesome half. I mean a good chunk would b sports and crap games like at least a third maybe? Who knows a good games usually opinionated too but yeh I might get this. I started dl PS2 from Harrison Hacks and wow what an effort hey. I got McBoot going with a sata n network adapter. Really fun project if u havn't done it, I def recommend it. Hell easy and PS2 libraries nuts. McBoots the best way to do it these days pretty sure but dang getting the library is a mission. At first I was like I'll just get them 1 by 1 as I play them but there are so many its better to get them in big sizes. But anyway, enjoying these vids! Can't wait to see the Sega Mini hacked!

Kept getting new usbs, so many 128GB ones, none worked, even bought them 2.0!!! Nothing!!!!! Never occurred to me to plug it through a hub instead of directly into the second slot on the classic. The only usb that's ever worked on the direct plug in to the second slot has been a Kingston mini 16 GB thumb drive. I had two of them that both worked, but they were just 16 GB each. You may have just solved my problem. I can't thumb this video up enough. FUCKING LEGEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as your thumb drive (or card reader with an sd card) doesn't exceed 200 mA of power, it will work on controller port 2.

More than a 10 dollar hub my friend. And not every hub works at all. And of course, I am talking about AC powered hubs. Not all work. I bought a really nice one. 7 port. Lots of power. Plugged into the wall. To the second port on PS classic. And nothing. Ended up doing the power mod. Now any USB or external HDD works lol. Your best option people is to do the power mod. Super easy. I'm a complete noob at touching stuff, and I did this with a conductive pen in 2 minutes. Be... very... careful though.

When there are so many games - there are glitches, save function would usually shut down/reboot the system. A bit over 400 Games works great with blymsync or project eris, but 600 is no good

Sadly some of the games that the ps classics emulator uses dont work like on my case driver 1 loads perfectly but when it comes to restart it closes the app. Also on re2 i try on all regions copies the 1disc stays on the ps logo with a caption of .Cue and wont load up but the rest of the games i preinstalled works just fine

It does for me too I kinda hoped they had fixed it on the new release of bleemsync. My own original 555 game build did the same until I shrunk the coverart down to much smaller dimensions. It's to do with a file limit of titles on the carouse. So far I've tried fat32 and exfat formatted drive in both otg and my modded usb port with no luck. Gonna try ntfs next to see if that works. Autobleem is far superior except that it doesnt run retroarch as default psx emulator from the carousel.

Same here, and apparently the multi disc games are not swapping. I have gotten into a few games on this, but a real pain to have to back out and wait for the system to reboot after each game. It looks like Drew is having no troubles with that here. I hope there is a v2 of this. I looked into putting the roms into my AutoBleem build, but the folders are set up differntly and there is no lic file for each game like the AB build folders. All odd, would love to fix this up some. Then it would be great.

i'm having some trouble playing this, i;m not sure if it's the download or me. i downloaded onto an exterior powered HD (didn't have enough internal space left) then unzipped onto 320GB portable HD named SONY, plugged it into powered USB hub that i use with the mini, but when it boots up and i pick a game it either powers off the mini or buttons don't work right with game, either do nothing or reset the mini. anyone have any idea's? i really like the look of this and would love to have it working.
