A large amount of the hate (from content creators making a literal career out of it) is misdirected. The raw power of the console is there, but the developers are botching their “enhancement” updates for the PS5 Pro - rushing it out the door too soon in order to ride the hype and squeeze more out of their product cycles. The console and PSSR are legit.

Just because people bought the ps5 pro, doesn’t mean that the internet complaints were not indicative of consumer beliefs. Humans have a long history of not putting their foot down. You have heard of Apple before, right? 😂 Every year, Apple comes out with a new phone, and the consumers complain that it wasn’t enough of an upgrade, and then go and buy the new phone anyhow… This is the same thing. Sony fans really didn’t think the price was worth it, and went out and bought the best console available, anyhow… because that’s what humans do

My point was the complaints were reflective of a loud minority and we know this because the unit sales vs the PS4 Pro aren’t terrible especially when we consider the price difference between the 2. People generally won’t spend a bunch of money on something they don’t want.

That’s not how this works. Sony is protecting Kadokawa from foreign takeover while ensuring Kadokawa still has control over internal decisions.
