Racing games are stale these days, either it's a simulator, free roam, or full arcade, nothing will ever beat the style that motorstorm brought. Motorstorm brought a fun and exhilarating experience as it provides us with tracks with many choices, different car classes, and a unique gameplay. It really is a shame that this genre won't probably come back, onrush is not even close, except design. Hopefully at least a remaster would be great, until then, people who look for an exciting experience like motorstorm will watch the staleness of racing games these days. I miss this game...

Not bad vehicle trailer but old is already from the year 2008. Well, the racing game I have already for PS3 and it is fun to play. There are great cars like rally cars and there are also motorcycles, trucks, quad bikes and so on. I think someone is playing the game yet so I definitely because it's 2017 but you can still play.

Well arctic edge for primarily for PS2 which does not contain blu-ray technology. You can only hold 4.7 gb of data on a dvd vs blu-ray where you can hold 50gb. Thats why there is a lot more content on the PS3 motorstorm then the ps2 version

@GTtheEpic Agreed, The physics are the only fault in this game. The ATV, while surely being the weakest of all the vehicles, with out having a good chance to defend against any other vehicle class and having zero tolerance for an obstacle (Ranging from a tire, sign, small rock to bigger) is just enough to give this game a 1/10 rating. The buggy is the second weakest vehicle, it can knock down ATV's all day, without having problems, but can't defend itself against anything else.

If I remember correctly a few paint jobs and small number of vehicles are unlocked through trophies, I think 1 or 2 trophies needed multiplayer

well there is a total of 96 races (24 on all 4 sections) so you could get a few bronze and silver and still get the 8500 but mostly you need to get gold.

Sad that out of all the vehicles, the ATVs handle the worst in Pacific Rift. Like trying to ride a bull, it tries to buck you off on every bump and turn. Meanwhile, they're much more easily controllable in Monument Valley and Apocalypse.
