One that immediately comes to mind is being asked to do some kind of non emergency task for a family member when you can't pause the game while watching a cutscene, in a dungeon with other players, or fighting a boss especially if the don't understand that not all games can be paused & even in case where they can it will break the emersion. It's the equivalent of pausing a show or movie right before an epic action scenr, a heartfelt moment between characters, or scenes that will make you reach for the tissues. It's why it's so nice when even if they don't share your hobby, they know that you'll complete the task once you're able too

I mean.. one can be sick and still play games though. I almost always spend my bed ridden days watching tv or playing games when I'm not sleeping. And I would still be sick. So seeing somebody online is not proof somebody isnt sick. So I would not bother turning on or off my online visibility, because I have nothing to hide. If they have doubts they can come visit me to see I am bed ridden. Though I'd like to think people I work with would trust me enough not to harass me on my sick days. if they do bother to check because of lack of trust I will know none of them are friend material to begin with, and I can remove them from my friend list alltogether once I am better again. Problem solved.

​​@@amberanimedepends on the situation, but yeah in general being sick doesn't necessarily mean you can't do anything at all. I suffer from migraine and let me assure you that you won't even be able to play games during that but when you got a stomach ache or sustained an injury or whatever you can totally still play games or read books etc. Of course if you call in sick and overreact your symptoms they might be suspicious if they see you online later on.

@@brent8407 I once tried a math exam while I'd already had the precursor symptoms (it was an at home one) and then I got the migraine. A lot of times I push through, which I don't recommend ever. Anyway, pretty early on I could read for the life of me. I saw the words, knew what they meant but comprehending a sentence or even a string of words? Nah, forget it. It's a miracle I managed to communicate it with the teacher. I quit and went to bed, no point in even trying if you can't even comprehend words.

The VR one really gets me... I used to love playing Beat Saber when I was in uni. I'd just wear gym shorts and a sports bra and proper go for it (great exercise!) but I was terrified of maintenance having to come in or something and me not hearing the knock at the door and them just walking in... Also the more risque scenes in games are the same as those in movies and tv... your parents (or whoever) will magically walk in when the scene starts and think you're a perv. Edit: bloopers were playing as I was typing so having to edit this in. Pure brilliance. Need more bloopers!

Dog scissors, craft scissors, kid scissors, too many to mix up. ,Great bloopers, some good Delsin moment/Rob's Mum moment, that nosy neighbour, Dave on those situations are so funny and on point. A lot of good green screen moments in this one really convincing and funny. VR for sure, the magic it ofers and explanations of arm waving or trying to get it to qork sometimes or so rrady for it and nope other things to do. No AI can replace Rosie. AI can not overtake her power. :) Not really experienced the online/multiplayer (unless local co-op/split screen) ones (know of those moments though) but yeah singleplayer ones can go either way of annoying enemy AI or silly moments. Yeah online status and trophies or time played hmm. Or other things synced like Diacord. Mot had a work situation like that but can see that being the case or certain friends. Yeah hidden items exists for a reason, scene warnings in games shouls be a thing sometimes or times to play games when able to without interruption or bood/swear features when some games had them instead of altering them and changing the development that but longer, and yep some games have weird mechanics or features for bonuses of XP, party member bonuses or trophies.
