State of the arc did a podcast recently,y on how obnoxious the remark is because it offers no concrete criticism and seeks to minimize and devalue the other person’s opinion. Personally, I loved FF7 rebirth and it more than met the hype. Fantastic cut scenes, addictive and deep battles, side quests that developed characters, music that shifts subtlety with a minor change of scene, great optional mini games. Queens blood could be its very own Balatro if it was developed more. Skill ups review mirrors a lot of my own thoughts in the game. It deserves the high praise.

Another game, especially if you like horror games, is the Silent Hill 2 remake. It's a beautiful old classic that got brought to the modern consoles & audience. The town, the characters, the monsters, & the combat have all been updated while keeping what made the original version an iconic game. It was my GOTY for 2024 & if you're not too spooked to go running around a fog filled ghost town full of monsters than have a nice visit to the town & see if you can help James find out what is going on after getting a letter from his late wife

I own two of the games mentioned in this video, Astro Bot and the Demon's Souls remake, The latter of which I got on sale. Another game that you should buy if your a PS5 owner is the remakes of Dead Space and Resident Evil 4. These games are not only brilliant on their own, they are also a great homage to their original counterparts.

I agree with this list. Rob! The Tower Knight is a gimmick boss and quite easy once you know how to do it, in my opinion. But you can always grind some levels to make it a bit easier

An underrated ps5 game that I really liked was The Chant, aka Resident Evil 4 if the monsters were made of Bad Vibes. It also has a great reason for weapon degradation - the weapons are all nerw-age hippie gear that is made out of woven plants to including literal bunches of sage that you waft at swarm/spirit type enemies, so of course they break after hitting a monster with them. It also has a really cute panic mechanic that gets used really well at the end.

Astro Bot, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, and God of War Ragnarok are the games I have. I don’t want Demon Souls because I just can’t handle the difficulty. I’m not getting The Last of Us Part 1 because I already played the PS4 remastered version multiple times and I’ve had my fill of it to last a lifetime. I’m not getting Gran Tourismo 7 because I’m not into driving simulators. I’m not getting Tekken 8 because I’m not into fighting games. The games I’d include are: FF16, FF7 Rebirth, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, Dead Space, and Epic Mickey Rebrushed.
